My boss asked me a few months back to draw a geisha for him and he'd get a tattoo of it......it's obviously still in the works. >_<
I'm only going to submit this version because this is the most current version. I'd rather not show you all the changes I've made so far....it could easily make a short book or something.
So, I've still got to add details and make a few more alterations. In my opinion, I don't think he should get a tattoo of this.....but rather get a professional to draw him a geisha and get a tattoo of that. Even if he doesn't get a tattoo of this, at least I did the drawing for him. He's a really great guy and has been somewhat patient with me, so I want it to be really good...hence why it's taking so long to finish it.
If this were just a random drawing, I'd be happy with it, but it's not just a random drawing.......and I'm really not happy with it. T_T
Anyway, keep any eye out for the complete picture......which will hopefully be soon.
Comments and constructive criticism are super welcome!!!
Oh yeah, list of things I plan to change or are currently being worked on:
1. Eyes
2. Collar of kimono
3. Hair pieces (in general)
4. Hair line
5. Something about the jawline isn't right
6. Mouth still isn't right
If you see or can think of anything else, please feel free to tell me. ^_^

It's beautiful, and I think it's very accurate. Great job!

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.

In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
